PURPOSE & DESCRIPTION: The Dealer Relationship Manager works towards achieving the organisational goals by calling on Motor Dealers and Financial Institutions to maintain and grow existing sales volumes within the VAP’s division.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • To market Credit Life, Adcover, Renewtech, Warranties and Service and Maintenance Plans to existing and new corporate clients
  • To achieve monthly set targets and penetrate the market for new business
  • To maintain a continuous professional relationship with existing and new corporate clients
  • Client training and capability building
  • Client performance management and reporting
  • Client compliance, risk and quality assurance
  • Customer experience support
  • On-going training of products and benefits
  • Represent M-Sure at various functions and launches
  • Provide market intelligence monthly
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Matric
  • Certificate in Sales and Marketing (advantageous)
  • Minimum of 2 -3 years of sales experience in short-term insurance.
  • Understanding of the Financial Advisory & Intermediary Act of Fit & Proper requirements 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
  • Computer knowledge: MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Must have good time management
  • Diary management
  • Requires excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and adaptability
  • Good administration skills for reporting and budget control
